Meet Dr. Anu

Welcome. I Am So Excited That You Are Here.

I know this is a Meet Dr. Anu page, so I am going to tell you about myself, how I arrived here, what shaped the way I see people, and why this work means so much to me.

As you move through my story, I hope you find pieces of your own.

Maybe you have questioned something you were taught to accept. Maybe you have healed from what happened to you but are still learning how to live as the person you have become. Maybe you know there is more inside of you, but you need help separating your own voice from everything life placed on top of it.

That is where my story begins.

Before I Could Serve GOD, I Had to Know GOD

For as long as I can remember, I have needed to understand GOD for myself.

I was never comfortable repeating something simply because someone told me it was true. When something did not make sense in my spirit, I questioned it. My questions did not come from a desire to reject GOD. They came from my desire to have a relationship with GOD that was honest enough for me to live in.

I remember the day I told GOD:

“I cannot serve a GOD who is not better than me. If I am better than You, then I cannot call You my GOD.”

Let me explain what I meant.

The GOD who had been presented to me possessed characteristics that I could not reconcile with love. I was told that GOD could destroy people in anger, condemn GOD’S own children to eternal suffering, withdraw mercy, and reject people when they failed to get everything right.

Yet I knew I would never do those things to my children.

I would correct them. I would teach them. I would hold them accountable. I would tell them the truth and allow them to experience the consequences of their choices.

There was nothing they could do that would make me stop loving them, torture them forever, or completely abandon them.

I had to ask:

“How could I be more merciful to my children than GOD was supposed to be to GOD’S children?”

The way GOD had been sold to me made GOD sound emotionally unstable, loving one moment and ready to destroy the next. I remember telling GOD plainly:

“The way they sold You to me makes You sound like an emotionally unstable killer. That is not something I can serve, and I really want to serve You.”

That was not rebellion.

That was the beginning of honesty.

I did not want to walk away from GOD. I wanted to move beyond the version of GOD that had made me afraid to think, afraid to question, afraid to make choices, and afraid to trust what I knew inside of myself.

Ten Years With GOD as My Teacher

My formal spiritual education led me through the University of Metaphysics and eventually to CEB University, where I completed my Doctorate of Metaphysics.

The pastor who led CEB gave me a great deal spiritually and academically. When he passed away, I was deeply hurt. I had lost my teacher, and I did not know what was supposed to come next.

My relationship with GOD continued.

For the next ten years, I had no human teacher.

There was no Bible guiding the conversation. There was no book telling me what GOD meant. There was no person standing between GOD and me.

It was just me and GOD.

I often spent five or six hours a day in that relationship, listening, questioning, observing, learning, and allowing life itself to become part of the teaching.

I learned directly from GOD as Source.

That season did not teach me how to become more religious. It taught me how to become more conscious.

What GOD Taught Me About Power and Choice

One of the greatest things I learned was that mankind is powerful.

We have free will.

We are subject to cause and effect.

Life is not simply a collection of mystical events happening to powerless people. Our thoughts, decisions, habits, beliefs, reactions, and energetic alignment participate in what we experience.

We make choices, and our choices produce outcomes.

This does not mean that we control every event. It means that we are not powerless within our lives.

We can become conscious of what we are choosing. We can recognize what those choices are producing. We can decide whether our thoughts, behaviors, and relationships are aligned with the life we say we want.

When they are not aligned, we can choose again.

That is where responsibility becomes empowering.

Responsibility is not about blaming yourself for everything that has happened to you. It is about recognizing the places where your power still lives.

I Asked GOD Why We Were Cursed at Birth

At one point in my journey, I asked GOD why mankind was cursed from birth.

I had been taught that we entered the world already separated from GOD, already flawed, and already carrying something wrong within us. The more I learned from GOD, the more I began to understand that we were not born cursed.

We were born into trauma.

We enter families, communities, cultures, religions, and histories that existed long before we arrived. We can inherit fear, shame, rejection, scarcity, silence, anger, survival behaviors, and beliefs about ourselves that were never truly ours.

Some of what you are carrying may not have started with you.

You may have inherited the fear of a parent who never felt safe.

You may have learned to disappear because visibility was dangerous in your home.

You may struggle to receive love because the people who taught you about love were wounded themselves.

You may fear GOD because someone else’s fear became your theology.

Healing is not about proving that you are defective.

Healing is the process of identifying what happened to you, what was passed down to you, and what you learned to become in response.

Little by little, you begin removing what does not belong to your true self.

The person underneath it begins to emerge.

From Healing to Becoming

There are phases to this journey.

There is the phase when you are surviving.

There is the phase when you begin to understand what happened and heal from it.

There is the phase when you realize the wound no longer owns you.

Then there is another phase, one that people do not always talk about.

You have to learn how to become the person your healing created room for.

One of my favorite scriptures says:

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with GOD, and the Word was GOD.”

I see the stages of transformation inside that scripture.

First, there is the Word, the truth you begin to hear.

You hear that you are worthy. You hear that you have choices. You hear that your voice matters. You hear that you are more than what happened to you.

Then the Word is with GOD.

You sit with the truth. You study it. You question it. You practice it. You begin developing a relationship with this new understanding of yourself.

Eventually, the Word becomes GOD.

The truth is no longer something you are trying to remember. It becomes the way you live.

You do not simply know that you are worthy. You make decisions from worthiness.

You do not simply know that you have a voice. You use it.

You do not simply know that you have healed. You stop allowing the wound to lead.

You do not simply understand peace, boundaries, love, self trust, or responsibility.

You become them.

That movement from knowing, to practicing, to becoming is one of my favorite parts of this work.

Naming the Voices

Many people believe they are making decisions from their authentic selves when they are actually responding to voices they have carried for years.

The voice may belong to a parent.

It may belong to a former partner.

It may come from religion, rejection, trauma, culture, fear, or the version of you that once had to survive.

Those voices can become so familiar that you mistake them for your own.

You can leave your childhood home and still hear the person who criticized you.

You can leave a painful relationship and still expect to be abandoned.

You can leave a church and still be afraid that GOD is angry with you.

You can accomplish wonderful things and still hear a voice saying, “You are not enough.”

This is one of the places where I listen most carefully.

I listen to what you are saying, while also listening for what is speaking through what you are saying.

When you tell me, “Nobody chooses me,” I may ask when you stopped choosing yourself.

When you say, “This is just who I am,” we may discover that it is who you had to become to survive a particular chapter of your life.

When you say, “I do not know why I keep doing this,” we slow the experience down until we can see what the behavior has been protecting.

We name the voice.

We understand where it came from.

Then we decide whether it still deserves the authority it has been given.

How I Coach

My coaching is intimate, transparent, spiritually grounded, honest, and built around genuine connection. I work with people privately and in groups, creating space for truth, awareness, healing, responsibility, and conscious choice.

One on One Coaching

A Private Space for Honest Work

One on one coaching gives us the space to slow down, listen carefully, and look closely at what has been shaping your life.

I love the moment when someone recognizes a pattern they could not see before. I love watching their expression change when they realize they are not broken. I love seeing them understand that they are not trapped inside the identity they learned to perform.

I do not believe in sitting above people and performing authority.

I bring my education, experience, discernment, and training into the room. I also bring my humanity.

I listen.

I ask questions.

I tell the truth with compassion.

I help you observe yourself without immediately condemning yourself.

I do not shame the ways you learned to survive. We honor what those behaviors once did for you, and then we decide whether they belong in the life you are creating now.

My work is not to make you dependent on my voice.

My work is to help you hear your own voice clearly enough to trust it.

Group Coaching

Healing and Growth in Community

Group coaching creates a different kind of transformation.

In a group, you are able to hear your own experience reflected through the stories, questions, breakthroughs, and discoveries of other people.

I create an environment where people can be honest without being humiliated, challenged without being attacked, and supported without being encouraged to avoid responsibility.

Group work allows us to learn together while still honoring the individual journey of each person in the room.

Sometimes another person asks the question you were afraid to ask.

Sometimes their breakthrough helps you recognize your own.

Sometimes being witnessed by a healthy community helps you stop hiding from yourself.

Whether I am coaching one person or guiding a group, the purpose remains the same. I help people recognize what has been leading them, reconnect with their power, and make conscious choices about who they are becoming.

Who is leading your life?

What are your choices producing?

What would become possible if you stopped abandoning yourself?

Abilities in Service of the Work

My coaching is also supported by abilities I have carried throughout my life.

I am empathic and clairvoyant.

I can feel what people are carrying, sometimes beyond what they are able to put into words. I may see information connected to something that has already happened or receive insight about what may be developing.

I also have the ability to communicate with those who have transitioned from physical life into the afterlife.

I do not believe in death as the end of life. I believe consciousness continues beyond the physical body.

At times during a session, you may notice me become quiet or look off into the distance. I am still listening to you, while I may also be listening within the spiritual or angelic realm.

I may return with a message.

Sometimes I return with a question.

Often, it is the question that opens the place we were trying to reach.

I do not use these abilities to take away your free will or tell you that your future has already been decided. I use them in service of awareness, healing, truth, and conscious choice.

These abilities do not replace the coaching process.

They deepen the way I listen.

Training and Credentials

My work is spiritually lived, but it is also professionally developed.

Doctorate of Metaphysics CEB University
Metaphysical Studies University of Metaphysics
Professional Coach Training Completed through a school intentionally selected from the International Coaching Federation directory
John Maxwell Certified Coach Leadership and personal development
Board Certified Practitioner Recognized by the Board of Metaphysics

My credentials matter to me because I believe calling should be honored with study, discipline, responsibility, and continued development.

My degrees and certifications are not the whole of who I am.

My greatest education has come through my relationship with GOD, my own healing, the lives of the people I have been trusted to serve, and the daily practice of becoming what I teach.

Why I Am Here

I believe GOD sent me to do this work.

It is not simply a profession for me.

It is my passion, my calling, and the way I live.

The Anu Practice was born as a place for people to tell the truth, recognize their patterns, heal what they have carried, reclaim their power, and consciously participate in what they become next.

TAP University grew from my desire to educate coaches, leaders, ministers, practitioners, and students who feel called to guide others with depth, integrity, spiritual awareness, and genuine human connection.

The Church of Christ Consciousness grew from my discovery that GOD was not outside of me, but present within me as love, wisdom, consciousness, truth, and life.

These are not three unrelated projects.

They are three expressions of the same assignment:

To help people remember who they are, recognize what has been shaping their lives, and learn how to live from the truth they discover.

Your Story Can Begin Here

I know you came to this page to meet me. Before you leave, I want you to consider something about yourself.

Maybe you are no longer who you used to be, but you have not fully learned how to live as who you are becoming.

Maybe you have done the healing, but now you need support with the becoming.

Maybe you have spent years carrying beliefs, fears, or responsibilities that were never yours.

Maybe you are tired of repeating an experience that you know no longer reflects who you are.

You do not have to arrive with every answer.

You do not have to know exactly what is wrong.

You do not have to prepare a perfect version of your story before you reach out.

You can begin with the truth you have today.

“Something in my life is ready to change, and I am ready to understand it.”

We can begin there.

I would be honored to meet you, listen to your story, and help you discover what your life has been trying to show you.

You are not broken. You are in process. Your process is holy, and you are the answer you seek.
