Welcome to The Practice

The Practice

See it. Release it. Replace it. Live it.

This isn't church. This isn't therapy.

This is a space for spiritual awareness, self-examination, and transformation.

We look at what you're sitting in, what it is producing in your life, discover what you're ready to release, and what you're choosing to stand in instead.

Come as you are. Leave more aware of who you are choosing to become.

With Dr. Anu
Founder, The Anu Practice

Why The Practice Exists

For a long time, I knew I wanted to create a space where people could gather for spiritual growth, reflection, truth, and transformation.

I also knew I could not call it a church.

My understanding of church is deeply personal. I do not believe church is simply a building you enter. I believe you are the church. You are the place where the spiritual work happens.

I wanted to create a space that honored that.

I did not want to create a gathering where people experienced one powerful emotional moment, felt inspired for a few hours, and then returned home without anything practical to carry into the rest of their lives.

I wanted to create something people could practice.

Something you could take with you.

Something you could use when the room became quiet.

Something that remained when no one was teaching you, encouraging you, or telling you what to believe.

Something that brought you back to yourself and invited you to examine what was happening within you.

That is how The Practice was born.

For me, spiritual growth is not only about hearing the word. It is about examining yourself, becoming conscious of what is operating within you, and allowing what you discover to transform the way you live.

It is not enough to hear truth. Eventually, you have to live it.

That is The Practice.

Dr. Anu

You Are the Practice.

The work begins with you.

We examine what you are carrying.

We pay attention to your thoughts, beliefs, emotions, patterns, choices, reactions, relationships, and the energy you feel you may be sitting in.

We become curious about what those things are producing in your life.

Is this what I want to continue carrying?

When the answer is no, the work does not stop with recognizing the problem.

We begin practicing something different.

That is where the four movements of The Practice begin.

The Four Movements

Transformation becomes practical when we learn how to recognize what is present, release what no longer belongs, consciously choose what comes next, and practice living from that new place.

1

SEE IT.

You cannot consciously change what you are unwilling or unable to see.

We begin with awareness.

What are you carrying?

What are you believing?

What are you repeating?

What are you tolerating?

What keeps showing up?

What might your life be trying to show you?

See it.

2

RELEASE IT.

Once you recognize what is present, you can begin deciding what you are ready to stop carrying.

Sometimes that is a belief.

Sometimes it is an identity.

Sometimes it is a pattern, expectation, fear, relationship to yourself, or what you experience as emotional or spiritual energy.

You do not have to continue carrying something simply because you have carried it for a long time.

Release it.

3

REPLACE IT.

Releasing creates space.

Now we become intentional about what occupies that space.

What do you believe now?

What are you choosing now?

What standard will you live by?

Who are you choosing to become?

You do not simply walk away from the old.

You consciously choose what comes next.

4

LIVE IT.

This is where transformation becomes practice.

You take what you discovered and begin living it.

In your choices.

In your boundaries.

In your relationships.

In your language.

In the way you respond.

In the way you see yourself.

In the life you create.

You practice until what once required conscious effort begins to become the way you live.

Live it.

See it. Release it. Replace it. Live it.

What Happens When We Gather?

No two Practice gatherings are exactly the same.

Sometimes I teach.

Sometimes we reflect.

Sometimes I answer questions.

Sometimes I invite someone into a conversation.

Sometimes a person comes into the room believing they want to discuss one thing, and through conversation we discover something deeper underneath it.

There may also be moments when I share what I perceive intuitively or spiritually and invite you to examine whether what I am perceiving resonates with your experience.

Nothing is forced upon you.

The purpose is awareness.

We listen.

We question.

We notice.

We examine.

We release.

We replace.

Then we practice.

This Is Your Work

I can ask the question.

I can offer another perspective.

I can tell you what I notice.

I can share what I perceive.

I can sit with you while you examine something that may be difficult to see alone.

The Practice is built on personal responsibility.

You decide what resonates.

You decide what you are ready to release.

You decide what you are choosing instead.

Then you decide whether you are willing to live it.

That is why this is called The Practice.

Who Is The Practice For?

The Practice is for people who are willing to become curious about themselves.

You may be here because you are tired of repeating something you already understand intellectually.

You may recognize that you have healed from what happened to you, yet you are still learning how to live as the person your healing created room for.

You may be questioning beliefs you inherited.

You may be noticing patterns you are finally ready to confront.

You may simply know:

Something in my life is ready to change, and I am ready to understand it.

You do not need to arrive with all the answers.

You simply need to be willing to look.

Come As You Are

You do not have to prepare yourself before entering The Practice.

Come with your questions.

Come with what you are noticing.

Come with what you are carrying.

Come with what you do not understand yet.

Come ready to examine yourself with honesty, curiosity, compassion, and personal responsibility.

Come as you are.
Leave more aware of who you are choosing to become.
